This is a Jerry Bruckheimer film. A good story and complex characters would only get in the way of the action scenes and slow the movie down. No, Gone in 60 Seconds (based on the cult 1974 film of the same name) is not about the stars as much as it's about cars. Fast cars. Rare cars. Wrecked cars. All cars. Too bad director Dominic Sena (Kalifornia) doesn't come across as more of a gearhead; he seems less interested in fast cars than fast cuts. But is this movie fun? Absolutely, and it's fun because it's so stupid. great film.
After working in cinemas for over 10yrs i have started collecting memorable films from the 90's through to 2007, their was some great film out in that short period and seeing as modern films are just about special effects and no story line, i decide to set up my own collection of the films that brought people out in there droves to see these films, one of which was Gone In 60 Seconds. A very good driving film with lots of high end cars being stolen for a local gangster to ship out to foreign buyer, with the cops as usual on his back 24/7.

I JUST LOVE NICOLAS CAGE DVD
Great film as is usual for Nicolas Cage. I will not say what its about but it is a wonderful thriller and all the actors and actresses are brilliant. He plays an outstanding role and the ending is great. I would recommend this DVD to people who like Cage as it is a real thriller very gripping. The price is good too.

Before The Fast and the Furious, there was this......
Better than the original The Fast and the Furious, due to its more action and mature theme, which is where that franchise has now gone, making them some of the best films and this is right up there with them.

gone in 60 seconds review
i chose to buy this dvd because it is one of my favourite films but i have never owned it myself. bought the item from the seller simply because the sellers id was high up on the list with a low price. it took a couple of days for the item to be shipped so that was the only negative thing about this transaction but since it arrived very quickly anyway it did not matter. i am used to ordering things from china so receiving my orders within a week is just lovely. the dvd was in good condition, as good as a used dvd could be and i am very satisfied.

My grandson loved this movie since it first came out. He is 13 now,and really likes classic cars. I have been looking for Gone in 60 Seconds for his PSP, and found it on Amazon. I knew I had to get it. He says it was one of his best Christmas presents.
