Always pour a small amount into a container and work from that. Don't poor left over liquid back into the bottle as that will also contaminate it. **Q: What colour does it dry ?** A: Black with a "blueish tone" Ok left as is but would look better with a coat of Hammerite Smooth Black or Dark green. **Q: can this be used on a BBQ** A: Once dry, this needs to be painted over. I don't know of a paint that will withstand BBQ temperatures and the constant scraping required. I would remove the rust with a wire brush then coat it with an edible oil. Clean it immediately after use and re-coat with oil to prevent rust forming.
