Approved by BISHTA and trusted by leading spa brands, it features easy-to-follow instructions for quick, reliable water care. ## Description ClearWater 1kg pH Plus/pH Minus is the best way to adjust a hot tub or pool's pH levels. Incorrect pH levels can impact the water quality and the experience for the user. The recommended pH balance is between 7.2 and 7.6. When pH levels drop below 7.2 acidity increases and pH increaser is needed. Applying the pH water treatment couldn’t be simpler. After dissolving the recommended amount of pH chemicals in warm water you simply add the solution to the water and this will increase the pH level. After a minimum of 4 hours, pH levels should be checked again and increased or decreased accordingly. ## Features - Increases the pH level of your spa or above ground pool to maintain comfortable pH levels for your skin whilst you’re enjoying your hot tub or pool - Ensures that your spa or pool stays hygienic and looking pristine so you can fully enjoy your experience - Maintains the optimum pH level to enable chlorine treatment to work more effectively and clear any harmful bacteria - Instructions are clearly stated on the bottle and it’s very simple to use- simply dissolve the recommended amount of pH chemicals in warm water and add the solution to the pool, increasing its pH level- check after minimum 4 hours - Clearwater is a BISHTA approved member and recommended by brands such as Bestway and Lay-Z-Spa for reliable, safe and high-quality water treatment ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Asin | B003O2F15A | | Benefits | pH increaser | | Best Sellers Rank | 280 in Garden (See Top 100 in Garden) 1 in Pool Balancers | | Brand Name | Clearwater | | Country Of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (7,987) 4.6 out of 5 stars | | Eu Spare Part Availability Duration | 1 Years | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05031470039035 | | Included Components | CLEAR WATER 1KG PH INCREASER | | Item Form | Granular | | Item Highlight | Raises pH, Improves Water Balance, Chlorine Efficiency, Comfortable Bathing, Easy Dosage Guide | | Item Type Name | PH Plus Increaser | | Item Weight | 1 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | ClearWater | | Manufacturer Part Number | CH0005 | | Model Number | CH0005 | | Number Of Items | 1 | | Number Of Packs | 1 | | Package Size Name | Standard | | Unit Count | 1500.0 gram | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Clearwater - **Global Trade Identification Number:** 05031470039035 - **Item form:** Granular - **Item weight:** 1 Kilograms - **Product benefits:** pH increaser ## Images ![Clearwater pH Plus Increaser Hot Tub, Spa & Pool Granules 1kg - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71x+szysAsL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Colour Name, Number Of Items** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What are the ingredients in Clear Water ph minus?** A: Sodium hydrogen sulphate **Q: I have a 9ft pool.and brought this item and i have no idea what i am doing. Can someone please advise me? I have no test strips is this essential?** A: Hi there, you do need test strips because that way you can keep a check of your chemicals. You also need chlorine tablets to keep your water germ free. The Ph balance is if the Ph balance is low you can raise it, and if the alkaline balance is to low use bicarbonate of soda and that will bring it up. I generally have 2 chlorine tablets in all the time except when we are in the pool, and mix 1/2 pint of water with 4 dessert spoons of Ph balance as needed, the same with the bicarb. But that is why you really need the test strips because all the levels you need are on the side of the container in colour and you match a strip to the colours. Once you get the strips it’s quite easy. I hope this helps you. Enjoy your pool. Lindy **Q: Hot tub advice. From tap zero on everything, stabilising alkalinity eventubut but ph sta low. New fill after giving up on last. What am i doing wrong?** A: Concentrate on shocking the tub when filling from scratch which means add 3tbsp of chlorine and leave 24hrs then take dip sample but I rarely use anything apart from the chlorine nowadays and never had any problems **Q: Hasanyone tried this in a Koi Pond?** A: Hi, as far as I am aware no customer has used this item for a pond only have feedback for using the chemical in swimming pool and hot tubs. I am sorry I can not be much more help. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super nice for hot tubs. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 9 December 2025* These granules are easy to measure and dissolve, and they reliably bring the pH back into the ideal 7.2–7.6 range after testing the water.
