I pinpointed the problem hum at the amp input through trial and error and don't know what else to do.** A: Although, I am not a guitarist, I believe that this unit will solve your problem. Plug it into the power source and connect the mixer's power plug to the HumX. If your speakers are also powered, use a HumX for each of their power cords. If it doesn't solve the hum problem, the cause is from something connected to mixer inputs or outputs. To find out which device is causing the problem, disconnect all devices from the mixer - except speakers - and see if the hum is gone. If it is, connect one device at a time to inputs and outputs until you hear hum.
