[EDIT]: THE MOST COMFORTABLE SHOE IN THE WORLD!!! My review just changed to a 5 star from a 3 star. Once I got the right size (which still baffles me that I needed a W), I’ve been wearing these non-stop! I even took them on vacation to NYC (where you walk A LOT), and never once did they hurt my feet after a full 12+ hours of walking and being on my feet!! They took about a couple weeks to truly break in, but once they did...oh my gosh!! I can’t tell you how awesome these shoes are!!! They’re like butter...I’m so not kidding!! I have been used to a slip on shoe for YEARS, so the only annoying thing to me is that you have to physically put them on and take them off. But it’s WELL worth it because you never really want to take them off!! They have a side zipper, which adds to the cuteness, and a nice sized heel, which isn’t overly big or small!! I’m only 5’0, so it adds the perfect amount of height!! Below is my original review, but I’ve edited because it was necessary to tell you how much I love these shoes!!! So I’m a solid 8 M normally. I’ve never had to buy a wide shoe! I was SO excited about these shoes, also them being Clark’s, that I put away my old shoes the minute I received them. I wore them for one day and the tops were so tight, it was getting seriously annoying! By the end of the day, I had to unzip the side zipper just to make it home! I decided to return these and get an 8 W. So I’m currently waiting on those. I’m hoping that they’re comfortable enough to start out with that as the breaking in occurs, they’ll get even better. I couldn’t even imagine the 8 M breaking in enough to make them comfortable! If the 8 W’s don’t fit well like the M’s, then I’ll just try another shoe and just be bummed about it! I do fly a lot, and when I do, my feet tend to swell a bit. I couldn’t even imagine what these would feel like if my feet were a tad swollen! Especially when they were so tight across the top when my feet were normal to begin with! Anyway, I’ll update my review if the W’s fit well. Otherwise, just beware of them being a tad tight/small across the top!

I needed new shoes for a funeral last minute and was worried I’d end up getting distracted by blisters while mourning, but I took a chance on these shoes based on other reviews saying they didn’t need any breaking in. They were 100% right- I wore them with no-show socks and didn’t get any blisters. It’s a bit of a squeeze getting your foot past the ankle, even with the zipper down, but they fit true-to-size once they’re on. Highly recommend if you need a comfortable show last minute and don’t want to risk being in pain on first use.

’m really happy with these boots! They fit true to size and are comfortable right out of the box, no break-in period needed. The quality feels great for the price, making them a really good value. They’re also super versatile. I’ve worn them with both jeans and slacks, and they look cute with everything. Definitely a great everyday boot!

I've worn Clark's women's shoes (clogs & slip-on) for about 10 years now and always needed to wear a thick sock to make my B-width foot feel like it wasn't swimming in them, until now. The Emslie slip-on loafer (bootie in my opinion) is narrower than the other Clark shoes I've worn before and I like it, but I wonder if it will be comfortable over the long haul? Let me explain. I ordered a size 10 - my usual size - and tried them on with medium weight socks. My right foot felt perfect in the shoes, but my left foot felt slightly tight at the toe box. I did try them on at the end of the day with socks that have ridges in the knit and the shoes are very stiff right out of the box. I kept the shoes as I think ordering up would just result in too long and with the heel on these, I could see my foot sliding to the end of the shoe more easily with more room. So, the fit on these is different from the other Clark's I've worn in the past. The look is more narrow, but that's also part of what makes the shoe so attractive. My size 10's look smaller and the heel height is just right. The cuff is padded as is the footbed, and in general, it's just a good looking shoe that can be worn with professional or casual clothing. I recommend this shoe to others looking for a bootie that's good for all-day wear, but I don't recommend it to those who are seeking a roomy toebox or lots of wiggle room.

This shoe fits perfect right out of the box. I was skeptical about purchasing shoes online. I usually wear 8.5 - 9 depending on the cut, so I chose 9. I did not regret. it. Its comfy any fit is awesome
