Roller Bag

Bought the bag a year or two ago to travel. Love it def can take a hit and keep on ticking. Enough space for my dive equipment and presents to bring back.

Initially purchased a scuba gear bag large enough to hold all gear for 2 people. Everything fit great, but bag was definitely over the airlines allowed weight. Overweight fee is expensive! Bought two Tusa MEDIUM sized bags. Perfect! Easily fits BCD, regulator in its bag, fins, wet suit, mask in case, and some extra stuff and easily stayed under allowed weight. Some reviews said quality was bad, but that has not been the case in my experience. Just finished a big trip and both bags held up great. I recommend.

This bag looks great! It seems to have a little bit of padding which makes me feel like my gear is protected from the elements of travel. The medium bag perfectly held my full set of gear plus carrying bag for shore excursions. I really, really wanted this bag to be as great as it looks while sitting at my front door waiting to go on my next trip. But, it didn't hold up at all. When I made it to my destination (included one baggage transfer in my 3 flights), the bag was already coming apart at the stitching by the handle. While the bag did make it back home, I am returning it because I have two more trips coming up and need a bag that is sturdy and reliable. I am so disappointed because this bag is just what I was wanting in a dive bag... but I want/need it to hold up!

OK so I'm completely neurotic! I've been shopping for a new dive travel bag for several weeks. I've researched and read reviews and finally landed on this TUSA bag. Although I haven't traveled with it yet, I couldn't be more pleased with its quality and size! I think this is the perfect bag to meet airline weight requirements and not should travel well. One of the features I looked at across the bags was the quality of the zippers and wheels - this bag's got it going on!

Quality bag. Two internal sipper pouches. Comes with name tag. Also has exterior buckles that help secure contents. Rolls easily. Use for both snorkel items and hiking items. Exterior cleans up easily with damp cloth (after airline luggage process got it dirty).

Though I haven’t traveled with my Tusa bag, yet; I have packed it with my gear. Easily fits BC, regulator, 2 masks in cases, computer, booties and net bag. I was looking for a perfect sized carryon for my gear and …. This is it! It’s just deep enough to fit all my gear except wetsuit and fins… they will go in suitcase.

We bought this bag to replace on old suitcase we used for one set of our dive gear. It arrived right before our month-long trip to Southeast Asia in a clearly defective state. The bag was beginning to separate from the chassis right out of the box. We had no time to deal with getting a replacement, so we photographed the defect and packed the bag hoping for the best. The bag was almost completely separated from the chassis by the time we got to our destination on the first leg of the trip. We had to hold it together with plastic wrap for the remainder of our vacation. When we returned home, we contacted the retailer and supplied the same photos you see here. They told us that they contacted TUSA on our behalf and that “after they receive your bag they will inspect it and send a new replacement”. This sounded reasonable and affirming but the situation soon deteriorated. Dive Catalog later told us they inspected the photos and that we should either file a claim with our credit card company or file a claim with the airlines because it was only a “cosmetic defect”. What a coincidence that this “cosmetic defect” is in precisely the same location as where the bag fell apart on its maiden voyage (see photos). Meanwhile, we also contacted TUSA directly and they told us that in order to make a proper determination as to whether there was a defect, the bag would need to be sent back (our expense) to the retailer. Of course, the retailer already told us of his determination by looking at our photos. So, TUSA wanted us to spend more money to ship it back to the retailer when the retailer clearly already made up their mind that the defect was only cosmetic in nature. Dive Catalog had the gall to offer us a discount on a new bag. We will never do business with Dive Catalog again nor will we ever buy another TUSA product. Furthermore, we will make it our personal mission to let as many SCUBA diving friends as we can, know about this complete and total failure of TUSA to stand by their 1 year warranty and Dive Catalog to provide even marginally acceptable customer service. The whole experience was a huge disappointment of a retailer and a manufacturer trying to pass the buck. $179 flushed down the toilet.

Most 22 inch wheelies provide around 18 inches of available internal space, This TUSA BA0204 22” carry on bag “maximizes” the internal length available for a United Airlines carry on luggage item. (It has Max outside dimensions of 22”x14”x9” ) So My 20.5 inch long Scubpro go travel fins (size M/L) fit into this bag !!
