Most of the "memory foam" pillows I have tried are too hard and stay too fluffed up and makes my neck hurt. I have a whole closet full of them. When I opened the package, I was very impressed by how classy and well-made the Urban Bloom Domus Model Memory Foam Pillow presented; and I was hoping it was as comfortable as it looked, so I immediately had to run to the bedroom to try it --- ahhhhhh, the heavens opened and the angels sang! Though I love the last pillow I bought, here on desertcart, this Urban Bloom Domus Model is even better. The Lux Soft case it comes with is not only very classy looking, it keeps me cool, even with a pillowcase over it. It is very soft and soothing. I used to sweat a lot at night and haven't since I've had this pillow. I've spent hundreds of dollars on pillows I don't use and I will happily purchase another Urban Bloom. At least I know that it will get used and not money down the drain. NOTE: I am a side-sleeper. The Urban Bloom pillow works well, in my opinion, for side and back sleepers. As a side sleeper, this pillow supports my neck in a more natural position no matter what position my head is in. It is not too thick which is the worst thing for my neck. It conforms to your head and cradles it in a good position for comfort. I was unbearable for days, completely unzipped to air out. Even now, weeks later, I still occasionally get a whiff of the memory foam reek. But it's no longer enough to bother me, just enough to notice. Now that the weather has improved, I'll probably give it a good outdoor/sunshine airing and am confident that will take care of the problem.

This is an amazing pillow -- I have never slept better!

It's perfect... except for the smell.
I want to love this pillow. I really do. It is the perfect height and I wake up with none of my usual neck and shoulder issues when I use it. It feels so amazing while I sleep on it. It is perfect... Except for the smell. I cannot get rid of the weird musty smell that wafts from the pillow. I get off-gassing. It's a urethane product. It happens. Lots of evidence to suggest that it's not dangerous, but the smell. It won't go away. I am fairly sure we are past the point of off-gassing, as I've had the pillow airing out for two weeks and still the smell. My joints feel great when I wake up, but I'm tired because the smell keeps waking me up. I know I'm somewhat sensitive to smell, but based on other reviews I'm seeing, it sounds like it's not just me. I've done everything I can to get rid of the smell, so I am going to contact the seller and see what they can suggest. I will update my review in a couple of weeks with more information, and hopefully a posittive outcome.

Recommend...Don't Let The Smell Deter You From Buying This!
The Urban Bloom Best Memory Foam Pillow is fantastic. Straight from the sleek sophisticated box, you can tell that this is a superior product. It is the perfect thickness, not too thick and not too thin either. The pillow cover is soft and breathable; it looks so stylish I almost didn't want to put a pillowcase over it. I love that it is removable and machine washable, which is what I did when I first received it, to help dissipate the mildew like smell. The smell was coming from the memory foam itself but washing the the cover did help. I couldn't use the pillow for awhile because of the the initial smell...I left it out in my garage for a week then when the smell was mostly gone, I put the washed cover and a pillowcase. And since that night, I have noticed a much better sleeping experience! The pillow is so comfortable, firm yet conforms to the shape of your head. It really does help me sleep better and I wake up pain free. Normally my neck is stiff but not when I use the pillow. And this really does have some sort of temperature regulation that it stays cool. The only issue I have now is that both my husband and children love to steal it away from me. They also give it a thumbs up! I recommend this memory foam pillow; don't let the the other reviews of the smell deter you from getting it. The initial smell is strong but after airing it out for some time and covering it with the washed cover and a pillow case, the scent is gone...and then you will be on your way to a more comfortable and well rested night's sleep.

It is really soft and comfortable and stays cool
I received my memory foam pillow about a week ago. First let me say it comes impressively packaged, caught my husbands eye right out the box; note if you order one you may have to fight off pillow bandits. The most impressive thing I find about this pillow is that it really does regulate temperature. I am usually a pillow flipper, always turning it when it becomes hot. I don't find myself doing that at all with this pillow. It is really soft and comfortable and stays cool. While it did have a bit of a new foam smell to it at first (if you have ever bought a memory foam pillow before you may know the smell I'm referring to) I didn't find it bothersome after putting it in a pillow case (and it fades away after airing out). The pillow is a bit wider than a standard size pillow, meaning it will completely fill a standard pillow case to the edge. This is a positive for me because it divides my queen size bed perfectly down the middle (my space has offically been declared. Lol) I'm very pleased with this memory foam pillow, I would say it is definitely one of the best ones I've slept on. It has a removable washable cover; which is another advantage over other memory foam pillows on the market. Most I've seen are not washable (other than surface) and you have to purchase a washable pillow protector separately and I haven't seen one anywhere near the quality (thickness) of this one, which will extend the life of your pillow. I would definitely recommend this memory foam pillow to anyone looking to improve their quality of sleep.
