Dell PowerEdge R730xd Server 24B SFF 2U, 2X Intel Xeon E5-2690 v4 2.6Ghz (28-cores Total), 128GB DDR4 RAM, 4X 1.2TB 10K SAS 2.5” 12Gb/s HDD, H730P 2GB RAID, NIC 10Gb + I350 1Gb (Renewed)

This is really good for the price. It doesn't have much GPU power so you need to install additional video cards. It can hold 2. They are super easy to install. Once installed and configured it's amazing. I use it to train Large Language Models and run my Ai. Runs like a dream. It lost power briefly once and came right back up. It was really loud for about a minute while coming back up. Then it ran normally. It's really quiet. I barely hear it when working and it's 3 feet away. I would absolutely recommend this. Just remember to get the additional video cards.

As described works well

Arrived quickly and in excellent condition. You would never know it was refurbished, it looks brand new. Opened it up, not a speck of dust inside, and all hardware was installed properly and functioning as expected. Noise level is actually not nearly as bad as expected. Fully ramped up, yes it's loud but at idle, it's hardly noticable. Excellent seller and quick to respond to inquiries.

Awesome unit. Super clean. 1 of 4 nics doesnt seem to work, no lights. A drive tray has no lights but the drive operates. Neither is a deal breaker for me. Shipping was insanely fast. Very impressed and very well packages. I would buy from this seller again.

I've been looking at upgrading my old vmWARE ESXi server for a couple years. I wanted the 720 (to run dual nVIDIA GPUs), but this was an awesome price with everything that it comes with!128G RAM4 1.2TB drives (I also grabbed a pack of 10 additional for storage)iDRAC 8 Enterprise (versus my older iDRAC6 Enterprise)PERFECTLY CLEAN INSIDE AND OUT!!!!!BATTERIES IN WORKING ORDER!!!!!BIOS UPDATED / FIRMWARE UPDATED!!!When I re-enabled the initial 4 drives included, the server booted up with 180 day evaluation of Windows Server 2019 - which I have a licensed older 2012R2 on another machine I need to update soon as well.Quiet! Fast! Worth EVERY penny!Shipping was SUPER FAST!

How did I end up here.TL:DR Very clean, arrived early, worked out the box, even has the key to lock the cover to the rack!Functions fantastic, not as loud as I thought it’d be. I have it in a server rack in the office which shares a wall with mine. I do not hear it. Mainly a media server but doubles as a NAS until I get a nice storage server. I stocked it with 16 1.2tb drives in raid 50.I did all this with online guidance cause I have no clue what I’m doing. Somehow this purchase resulted in me running my own cat6 cable and learning how to terminate it. Good news, it works great. Got new cat 6 from living room to the office. Bad news, a switch arrives in a few days. And all cause I got this for 400$.I should mention the cpus I got were slightly slower but offered many more cores so I just didn’t say anything. lol.

Not only did the server arrive 4 days early, but the BIOS was already updated to the latest version, the CPUs have good thermal paste, the empty RAM slots have fillers, iDRAC 8 is on the latest version, and the server was packaged with the proper Dell shipping foam which survived the beating FedEx gave it. On top of all that, the four disks the server shipped with are already configured to a virtual disk in RAID0. Outstanding condition and I think the best used item I've bought off Amazon on this IT journey. Thank you very much for not disappointing.

This product arrived days early and was packaged very well. No damage at all came with everything mentioned in the description, and it powered on right away. For the price, this is well worth the money. Inside was clean of any dust and dirt. Also had empty RAM slot covers, which is nice to have as well. Windows Server 2019 is installed as the main OS.
