It is pretty easy to peel the sides off of the resin once it has been cured. It is definitely a bit of a learning curve. I found the best results is to pour a foundation first to get a proper bottom so you can keep the resin from spilling out the bottom and ruining the mold but use your best judgment. The plastic edges are very easy to clean up and remove once the resin has cured. I have yet to have issues where it was really stuck to the resin. It may take a little force to take some off but not much. The white is easily yellowed so if you happen to leave this in the sun to cure just be aware of that. I personally do not mind that. It does make a decent mold for what I need. I was able to make a few keycaps and buttons with this. It is not perfect but again it is great for me as a beginner. The instructions are there but it is pretty easy to setup. Overall I think these are solid pieces, they make decent beginner molds, and it is easy to remove.
