CS20066 New Air Conditioning Compressor

I bought this compressor to replace the original AC compressor in my 2004 MINI Cooper S. The dealer price on an OEM AC compressor was over $1000, but they were more than willing to install a remanufactured or third-party compressor. My only reservation about the Delphi was that it was so low-priced that some corners might have been cut in its manufacture. After getting my MINI back from the dealer and running the AC system through a series of short drives over the weekend, I took it on an extended test -- a 7-hour, 400 mile drive from Los Angeles to Sacramento. The compressor ran like a champ. It cooled the car more than adequately (MINI AC systems are, shall we say, a bit deficient in that regard), and never complained. A month later, it's still going strong. Overall, I have to say that this compressor is a good, solid value.

Does not fit 2008 Mini Cooper S Regardless of what the supplier or Amazon says. I even called the supplier and they said it would fit. But it WILL NOT FIT

Excellent product and the right type. However the internal OEM packaging box inside the main box was beaten up a bit, this meant the compressor had been moving around at some stage in its transport life (this could have happened when originally shipped from the factory, prior to going on sale). The result was a broken electrical connector for the compressor clutch coil, I have rectified this by the use of a cable tie. I am happy with the product and if works great. Cheers, Tony.

Works like new again after installing this unit!...and cheaper than I could find at Autozone where I get most of my parts.
