does not fit the phone it is supposed to and it was so cheap and nasty I could not justify the cost of my time to send it back to get a refund

Does what I needed it to do. This when connected to Sony HDR CX450 camcorder allows direct copying to Seagate portable hard drive with out the need for a computer. Handy when travelling light and need to back up.

A waste of money
This didn't allow me to download video from my Sony HDR-PJ330E direct to my pc (ie without using Sony's Play Memories software) as I was led to believe. A waste of money.

It doesn’t work!
This is the cable that is recommended in the manual for the ax33 but it doesn’t work. After reading some other reviews, I see I’m not the only one with this issue.

If you have a Sony AX53 you'll need one of these to connect it to an external portable HDD. I paired mine with a 2 TB Seagate and it works a treat when backing up the day's video and stills from the SD card in the camera.
