No fraying of coating *by P***E on 17 January 2019* Previously used nanoweb on both my electric with a pick and acoustic guitar for Fingerstyle am now a convert to these. Wish they did optiweb for acoustic. Nanoweb last a reasonably long time but I find they always fray over most used frets and where they are picked/strummed (pick or no pick). These don’t fray and so keep their tone MUCH longer. +Clear, bright well-balanced tone not thin or weedy +no fraying of coating + very long lasting +quieter under the fingers than nanoweb +no sticky feeling - fine for both Fingerstyle and picked electric + no black fingers like with uncoated strings - expensive, but definitely worth the extra better over nanoweb as much longer lasting.
