Perfect fit for a Mini 3 Prowith
Light weight and has a very long distance transmitter so you can fly a long way before you have to let your payload drop. Just be careful when you are not wanting your release to completely detach from the drone. If you don't want it to fall with the payload then I recommend adding a weight to the very end so it always stay away from the drones propellers. when landing make sues your release is not going to get slack in the line and get sucked back up into the propeller's. Take it from me using a drop sounds like fun but be careful because that fun maybe short lived. I recommend always checking out your drop with the payload already set up and practice a few times very close to the ground. This will save you money and a whole lot of time. Other than that it's perfect and all of what I just wrote only applies if your wanting what makes your drop work come back with the drone. Any other type of setups only make sure that you don't stop suddenly and all drone flight maneuvers are done slower than you would normally maneuver your drone. ex. a sudden stop while climbing may make the propellers suck the load up and with the load already going up from the sudden stop may entangle the drop cord in the propellers. Everything that i've said are things that have personally happened to me and learning by trial and error works but it can be costly so be careful when your attaching a drop to your drone.Kenny

no way to charge the controller?
the controller come with a built in battery but there appears to be no way to charge or replace it. does this mean once it's dead it's NFG?

So I just started using this and keep getting the same issue. The remote won’t connect pass 700 ft out. Had the same issue multiple times.Last thing I’m trying to do is bring my drove back with. I’ll be looking for another one.
