Great sugar alternative!
I was looking for an alternative to sugar and came across this. I use a tiny blob in my coffee (instead of a full teaspoon of sugar) and there’s no bitter aftertaste like other sweeteners. It allows me to still enjoy my morning coffee whilst cutting down on my overall sugar intake - plus it’s great value for money and lasts ages as you only need a little.

A lovely alternative to honey, great in salad dressing, sauces and drinks

Absolutely fantastic
I'm converted! This product is a great and healthy alternative to sweetening with sugar. I've used it in cakes, coffee, desserts etc and they've come out fantastically. The syrup itself is a lot sweeter than the equivalent in honey for example, and doesn't have the same flavours that honey does, but that has its uses if you don't want to overflavour something. Really good for people who want to avoid processed sugars, as this is a more natural source of sweetness, and it is worth the money as it goes a long way. I use it to sweeten my porridge mostly, and I hardly need to use any.

Nice but pretty expensive.
If using in drinks (like I did) I'd say 1tsp of this pretty much equals 1tsp of sugar, you get about 50 tsp in this bottle. Don't know much about the supposed health benefits. But it does taste good, very nice in tea (green, herbal and normal) and coffee. I do think it is very expensive though - considering if people use it in baking/eating.

hmm
I'm in 2 minds about this product. Touted as a healthy sweetener, the pundits ignore the fact that this is a processed product. It is VERY sweet and overweight people may be enticed into absorbing more sugar than is healthy. Ideally we could shift out taste buds to want less sweet stuff. The jury is out on the long term effects of a cactus based sweetener compared to other stuff. OK the glycemic index is lower, but the body doesn't need a lot of sugar in any form, so that is a side issue. I ended up with 2 different makes of Agave, one from here and another from the supermarket. It'll probably take me a century to get through them. Protein Power Life Plan (Drs Eades) has an interesting and informative section on sweeteners and health. They seem very cautious about agave and less so about stevia. Do your own research.

I just love it
First introduced to Agave syrup, where I was shopping at my local Tesco store. Since then, not been able to find it, so was very pleased to find a similar product here on Amazon. Not too heavy or sweet and it's perfect with my morning cereal, though have yet to try in Tea or Coffee. Will definitely be looking to make another purchase, once this bottle finishes.

Conditionnement pratique.
