is this trap sensitive enough ? as the plate trigger is not easily dislodged ?

After severral months trying so called sonic repellers with no effect whatsoever I manged to catch the one mole causing damage in my garden with the scissor trap. It was about the fifth day of setting the trap that produced the result.

Is it safe to set this mole trap if you have a cat? Obviously don’t want to endanger my cat who likes to try and catch the mole!

If your cat pokes his paw underground down the mole's tunnel then I would not recommend this. There is no danger above ground. These traps work a treat so hope your cat confines his activities to the surface!

Instructions? We don't seem to be able to catch anything despite the offenders being clearly alive! Could someone advise how best to place please.

Don’t put the traps in the molehills. That’s where they push the soil up. Grab a screwdriver and poke around until you find a run. About 30cm away from mole hill, use a knife to cut the grass and peel back. Set the trap and place in then replace the grass. Place a bucket over the top and put a brick or rock on top. Hope this helps

do these kill the moles instantly. Do you ever have to deal with a live mole being trapped?

Hi I found my mole very dead and I think the trap broke its neck.So hopefully an instant death.Trap was easy to set and killed a mole within a couple of days.I had tried a few things but none worked this did.I followed a you tube video on how to set trap and placed a bucket on top due to having doggies that dig.I would recommend.
