Whether it rests on the spring or not depends on where you tighten the spring into position. **Q: Can this work with other brand pedals?** A: The Iron Cobra pedal has a flat metal plate with pre drilled holes. If yours has a metal plate with two round screw holes and an oval hole to access the spring screw it should easily work. Or if it has a metal plate and you’re handy with a drill. **Q: Will this work on a iron cobra powerglide 900? i have the open slot on the base of the pedal but it isnt like the pictures and i dont have 2 holes...** A: I think it supports the Cobra coil.
