Another update.... After 9.5 years I thought this monitor had finally packed up. The screen was flickering a lot. So, I bought a new touchscreen monitor of a different brand but due to careless handling by the delivery driver it was broken. I then decided to get another Hannspree, the exact same brand and exact same model. As the old one lasted nearly 10 years I now have a new one which works as well as the first one. The touch points are very responsive, the screen is nice and clear and the only real difference is the stand. The stand on the new one is smaller yet just as stable. When I set up the new touchscreen monitor it too was flickering a lot. So, I checked the HDMI cable and replaced it... the same effect. I then checked the USB cable and replaced it... the same effect. I was at the point of replacing my graphice card when I happened to consider that it could be the power cable. After replacing the power cable, with adapter and switching on the screen had no flickering thus it is now working as well as my old Hannspree. The old one has been given away and is now being used so these Hannsprees can last more than a decade. I could have saved some money had I checked the power leads first but I am not bothered as even if it was something different to get nearly 10 years out of a touchscreen monitor and for only a small few hundred quid is a bargain as it cost much less than £30 per year. Now I have a new one I am expecting it to be a good decade away before I need to replace it. Given the long lifespan of the Hannspree I am certainly highly recommending these nice monitors that respond well. Another update - It has been well over three (3) years since I bought this monitor and it is still working like new. It still responds well and I have not had to change any of the contrast, brightness or colour settings since I 1st started using it. Definitely worth the 5* that I originally gave it. This HANNspree touchscreen monitor is highly recommended by me as it has been proven to be of high quality, does as it is intended to do, is reliable and has lasted more than three years without any issues whatsoever. It hasn't even got a single pixel mark after being used for many hours, every day. Buy it whilst it is available as this monitor does regularly go out of stock and it takes some time before new stock is available. Update - had this monitor for three months now and it is brilliant. The touchscreen works as expected, with fast response times and there is no sign of any pixelating. Being a glass screen, it is very easy to keep clean with a cloth and some Windowlene, The next thing I will be doing with my PC is activating the Dual Monitor Support. All going well, I am not expecting any problems with this Hanns. G Touchscreen Monitor and am expecting to be rather impressed to see everything that I see on my touchscreen also showing on my 65" TV screen. I will update again later to let potential buyers know of the results of the performance of the 27" Hanns. G Touchscreen Monitor when it is sharing the PC's resources with a 2nd screen. I am happy that I committed to buying this product and can definitely recommend it as a single monitor. Hopefully, I will also be able to recommend it as a 1st of 2 monitors or a 2nd monitor for those that have dual monitor capability. So far, I cannot find anything to complain about with this Hannspree 27" monitor. It arrived much earlier than expected as I was hoping for delivery on the same day as my new PC. However, I have still been using it, without touch, with my Windows Lumia 950 XL. On some sites, there have been some negative comments regarding the colours and brightness of the screen but what I have experienced is far opposite. Colours are bright and natural, images are crisp and clear. I have even been watching some 1970s comedy films on it, with clarity. Considering the films were originally produced on video tape and that I was streaming them, they were as good quality as when they were 1st shown on the cinema. The factory settings could not have been any better. There are two things that I have found a slight irritation, with this Hannspree Monitor and those are the power / settings buttons are on the back, right hand side and take a little getting used to for their positions and the ports for the cables are in the back, in a tight slot of which one needs to lay the monitor flat to install the necessary cables. However, those two niggly little things do not affect the quality of the monitor. If you see any negative comments elsewhere, regarding colour and brightness of the screen, they are simply unfair comments as the problems are down to the user and not the product. The factory settings are good enough so when one changes those settings, they cannot blame the product for the outcome. As for VFM (Value For Money), the HannsG 27" Touch is excellent value. I bought mine for £254, which is not much more than one would pay for a standard 27" Monitor, without Touch. The build is good, it looks good, it does the job that is intended and therefore this monitor is excellent VFM. Prices were rising on this monitor, when I bought it as most companies were out of stock. Companies such as E Buyer were profiting from the shortage but I still found this at a much cheaper price than I had seen for some time. The lowest price, from a reputable company was £280, with a lower price of £264 but from a company that had a lot of negative reviews. Therefore, as the lower price company was not to be trusted, the best price I had found for over two months was Novatech's £280 + Delivery charge. Until I seen the Amazon's price of £254, which saved me £26 + the delivery cost. I definitely recommend this monitor for the quality, the price and the VFM. Will update this review after I have used the Touch element of the product for a short while....

Absolutely love this product! Once we got the resolution right it worked a treat.. often needs to be replugged into the computer after the computer has been asleep.. but we're very pleased with everything 😊

Excellent quality, performs great !!!

I bought one of these to replace my dell 21” DVI based monitor that I’ve had working through a 4 port kvm with Macs, PC, Pis etc for years. Plugged it into the same KVM and it fires up as detected but then fails as ‘there is no signal’. Plug it directly to the Mac/pc and it’s fine. As my model only has HDMI and VGA, I tried both, and both failed to work as expected. Somehow, by random chance and rebooting everything, I had an HDMI signal through the KVM once.... but couldn’t repeat it again. You could blame the KVM I guess since the monitor works fine (and it is a good touchscreen) when plugged direct, but IMO there is something iffy about the electronics in this monitor so that it doesn’t work with the KVM when my other monitors do and with something like HDMI I wouldn’t expect to have to worry about this kind of thing today.

If you are looking for a 27" inch TABLET, then , Connect your HDMI out capable Smartphone with this monitor. I did setup Samsung S10 with this display as shown in the video. So you can see how it works. Touch works perfectly with Samsung Galaxy S10 via USB-to-HDMI Adapter. Samsung Dex mode gives even more Desktop like experience. I recommend using this monitor.
