I can only tell you my personal experiences. These screens prevent me from sneezing. Just be sure to clear the mess inside the nasal passages first. Now, my nose sometimes can get a little runny because the membranes are cooling inside...I just remove them blow my nose and reapply the same pair...They do re-stick with no problems... I've been using these screens for a few years since Shark Tank. It took a few sets at first to get comfortable and understand their practicality but now you couldn't ever change my mind. These screens prevent sneezing so long as person clears out their nasal passages first... I don't know how, but when allergies or smoke is really bad and I know this going into work or outdoors I do step #1 (clearing out my nasal passages) and then #2 turn them sideways (fits my nose better) #3 put them on before entering whatever environment I'm about to enter and that's it.
