Or are they 1 black up and 1 black down? The manual doesn't say.** A: I think arrows should face inside as showing “insert.” Usually an arrow on any filters shows direction of the air flow. Other Blueair filters like 211 and 411, white sides face the outside. But, yeah, the manual makes confused. Blueair staffs must give a clear answer for it. **Q: Which direction do you install the filters? Black side up or white side up?
