I regretfully cheated on my beloved Pyrex liquid measuring cup because times are tough, and money is tight. I had lost my original set during a move and desperately needed a liquid measuring cup. I went to the local Dollar Store and picked one up for a buck and some change. Within no time at all the print to show the measurements had worn off, this has never happened with my Pyrex. I pushed ahead with using the Dollar Tree measuring cup because you could still vaguely see the ghost of the measurements and my wallet still had moths flying out when I opened it. Then not long after the paint had worn this poorly made plastic liquid measuring cup cracked to the point that it would no longer hold the liquid that was being placed in it. In a hulk like rage, I crushed that measuring cup with my hands and threw it in the trash because Pyrex also never cracked under pressure. Pyrex is made of glass. Pyrex is strong and willing to do whatever job you needed it too. I am able to place it in the microwave and do things with it that the cheap one never could. I immediately went to Amazon and ordered my beloved Pyrex liquid measuring cups to which I made a promise that I will never try something like that again.

You can never have enough measuring cups! Theses are sturdy, easy to read and accurate. They can go in the microwave and the dishwasher. You can even poach an egg in it! Great buy!

Its rare that you can find glass measuring cups with everything seems to be plastic. but these are super solid glass. High quality and usefull.

This two-piece set is perfect and is exactly what I was looking for. The glass looks glear and the measurement graduations are precise. I like how I can put the smaller cup inside the larger one so that it fits on the shelf in my kitchen cabinet better. A great quality product!

**edit** Reached out the manufacturer and included photos. They are making it right by replacing the product. I have changed my review to 4 stars for such good warranty service. The warranty is for 2 years, in case anyone else is having an issue. Hoping the replacements work out better! *** After first receiving these, I would have given them 5 stars. Beautiful weight and heavy duty. But now they are not 100% useful as the markings have washed off in the dishwasher. It is uneven, so some marks remain, so I can typically do the math and approximate the original line, but this should not be the case. I had an original one from back in the 80's (or earlier as it came from my grandma) and the only reason it is no longer being used is that it was dropped and broke into pieces. It is most definitely true; they do not make things like they used to.

I purchased a set of one and two cups. They are pyrex and are a must in the kitchen.
