Review: Replacement item - The tow bar electrics supplied by the tow bar fitting company lasted 18 months and it was smashed to pieces and rusty inside when removed for replacement. This was a cheap unit that acted as a donor to give me the parts I needed to carry out a repair. The bracket was cut and bent for my application to avoid the risk of damage by grounding out and although this left it more likely to allow water to enter the socket if the seal was poor it has remained dry inside.
