You should use a synthetic or silicone based grease for applications where the grease will contact both metals and plastics. **Q: If this stuff has copper in it then in theory I should be able to grease under the lip of plant pots to stop slugs..anyone had any success with this?** A: it has copper. I did not do this, but you could grease it :D **Q: Can this be used in sds drill gears?** A: I am led to believe designed for wheel bearings which can get hot.
