OXO Good Grips Chopper White

Resounding success! impressed by build and design quality, just used it for prep for 8L stew, handled onion, leeks, carrot, parsnips, mushrooms, tomatoes, aubergine, fresh herbs, only veg I didn't use it on was broccoli. Great improvement on spiked chopping board, as I struggle with one hand. Disassembles easily for dishwasher. Two caveats: read the instructions (lock before dismantling) and make sure nothing will fall off the worktop with energetic thumping! I note this item seems better made and larger than cheaper imitations listed. PS I used it on bamboo chopping board, without the base...except for fresh herbs.

Absolutely brilliant product. A very robust well made product. As a single person that loves to cook and only needs to chop or dice small quantities this is ideal. You determine how big or small the veg are and because of the blade wiper the veg remains in the chopping area rather than being spread out around the container like many other products do leaving a lot not thoroughly chopped. It also disassembles easily for cleaning. This is one chopper for life I can’t praise it more 👍🏻

Absolutely fantastic so easy to use, clean and store, can chop onions really tiny or keep in larger pieces by pressing the handle down lots of times (for finer chopping) or l as for bigger chunks. It’s sharp and cuts well, it’s sturdy and if it’s looked after and used properly it is a fantastic fast chopping tool which speeds up prep time.

I bought this thinking it would be better than my food chopper that had split recently. I had the one where the plastic container attached collects all the chopped food and you have different cutting sizes for different food. Bought this thinking this can be used straight onto a chopping board so nothing will break/split. You can use it like that or put the little plastic bottom bit on and it will hold all the food chopped. Not really a fan of this as you have to press down quickly and forcefully for the blades to chop through the food. Anything with a ‘skin’ on, such as peppers, tomatoes it basically just mushes up, doesn’t chop nicely into pieces unfortunately. Cucumber, onion etc. cuts okay but again nowhere near as well as my previous vegetable/salad cutter. Picture is my OXO cutter/chopper and my other chopper/cutter for reference so you know what I’m referring to. If it worked liked it should it would be great and I wouldn’t mind the price which I think was about £22.00 but really it’s expensive for something that really doesn’t do the job it’s supposed to do.

Bought this because we saw it on "James may OH Cook" programme and really liked how useful it was, it definitely takes the faff out of chopping and its easy to clean 😀

Bought this in March, used it a handful of times and last night whilst chopping garlic, it broke. Until that point I thought it was good quality but it’s clearly not fit for purpose. It’s too late to return it so I’m stuck with a broken food chopper. I thought that a brand name such as Oxo would be more reliable.

I bought this as standing up is immensely painful for me, especially standing and leaning forward. This device does in a few seconds - with surprisingly easy physical action - what it was formerly taking me hours to do as I couldn't stand and chop things in the kitchen very well. This thing lets me dice things faster and more consistently, I can achieve all of the necessary chopping in one or two sessions instead of a dozen or so. The ease of cleaning is immensely important too, it comes apart remarkably easily and cleanly - it's a genuinely superb piece of industrial design. Materials quality is also very good, if you ever dice things this is pretty much a must-have. I can dice straight on a chopping board and pour into the InstantPot from there, brilliant.

Great device for chopping all sorts of vegetables. I hope they can do a slightly larger version .

Pleasant looking but unfortunately it's so loud & have myself to blame that I didn't check properly that it's not using USB or electric & that I have to press the knob to make it works!
