Satechi 7-in-1 USB-C Hub Pro Slim, 100W Charging, 4K HDMI, USB4, Midnight

This hub works well with the Macbook Air 13" M4. The silver is not a 100% color match, but it comes close and is barely noticeable. This hub has all the ports I'd need and is slim, sitting flush with the laptop, doesn't block the charging port. I like the lack of labelling, the clean aesthetic of this port hub, and the port placement. It was lighter than I expected when I compared it with one from Anker, but like this one for all the already mentioned reasons.

After decades in the Windows world, I purchased a 2024 Mac Air. I love it more than I thought it would, but the one annoyance is how few ports it has. Basically 2 USB C ports. No USB A, no Ethernet, no HDMI. A multiport adapter is a must have.I tried a couple of highly rated multiport adapters that have a USB C cable that plugs into the Mac, and they functioned well; they added the needed ports. However, it was a bit of a pain having the adapter hang from the computer if, for example, I was walking over to the printer. So I saw this one, and gave it a try.Problem solved. This plugs into the side of the computer and there's nothing hanging. It takes both USB C ports, but it adds more, plus it has ports for everything I need: USB A, data cards, USB C, Ethernet, HDMI, etc. I often just leave it plugged into my Mac Air and leave it there until I need to put the computer into a case for travel (and I could leave it plugged in but don't want to risk it getting knocked around and bent.)It does what it says and provides all of the ports I could need in a very unobtrusive way. Highly recommended.

Small, Lightweight, and Perfect Beside a MacBookI genuinely love this little hub. The Satechi 7-in-1 USB-C Multiport Adapter ended up being exactly what I wanted for a lightweight everyday setup. The biggest surprise for me was just how small and portable it is in person. In the video you can really see how easily it disappears into a tech pouch or laptop sleeve without adding bulk. It’s light enough that I barely notice it in my bag, which matters when you’re trying to keep a minimalist setup. The color matching with my MacBook is also excellent. It looks and feels like it was designed by Apple themselves instead of being some random accessory hanging off the side of the laptop.Performance-wise, it’s been reliable with no issues so far. I use it daily for charging, peripherals, and media access, and it keeps my setup clean without carrying multiple dongles everywhere.Five stars from me purely because it solves a real problem while staying compact, clean, and travel friendly.

this does a good job all around as a USB-C hub. The only issue is with the display through the HDMI. The dimensions are just a little off. Maybe it’s my equipment, but never had this problem with other Satechi hubs. It is very compact, and otherwise works well, so I will def keep it.

Fits MacBook Air perfectly. Looks great. Probably best for use on a table. You must be careful pulling things out but I am not disappointed. This is my first MacBook after having a fully tricked out HP laptop. This accessory makes me feel like I can again do anything. Nice product. Not a perfect match for the finish on the Mac but very close.

This is great!! Performance is really good. The USB-A fittings are a little mechanically tight.

Great product my only complaint is the standard USB ports are so tight that it broke my memory stick when I was trying to remove it. The USB-C ports are fine.

Seems to work very well. I used my 2012 MacBook Pro until 2024 when I started grad school and actually needed something that could function off a charger.. Well, I ended up with a MacBook Air and found out everything you ever needed to do had to run through a lightning port. This dock stayed in my laptop bag from the beginning and still is in there. It saved me and classmates numerous times with presentation issues. The double lightning connection makes it slightly specific to this model or era of MacBooks, but other than that, it’s worked fantastic and the color match is a great look. Plug and play use too, very easy.

Great but it makes your computer discharge even when closed
