I have been a fan of Juanes since I heard "Mi Sangre" and have all his CDs. I was not disappointed with P.A.R.C.E. I haven't stopped playing it since it arrived. Quimera, Amigos, La Soledad, and La Razon are my favourites, but I love all the songs on this CD and think they have great vocals, lyrics and fantastic guitar music.

firstly, great service, the product came from america and considering it was only a mere pound postage and the album was under 10 pounds, it was outstanding value, and came fairly briskly. The album itself is a great listen, and i would recommend it to all, even if you haven't any experience of spanish, there are very funky songs and chilled out ones at the same time. If you like this consider his other albums, "Mi Sangre", "La vida es...un ratico", "Un día normal", all great listens too.

Hard to find this one in Portugal. It's a nice album, could have more tracks. But since I like Juanes, I had to get this one!

Best album from Juanes, loved the songs, specially the ballads and the fact it feels like a real album, not manufactured for sales only, I think this album is very deep and a jewel for his fans. Thank you Juanes.

I have to both agree and disagree with the reviewer above.Where i disagree is his opinion of "La Vida...Es Un Ratico". The first time i listened to "La Vida" i loved it. It had the perfect mix of rocky songs, slower love songs, and even the poppy feel good songs.It was that first impression which was so different with this album. I like it, don't get me wrong. The music and lyric standards have been well retained, and Juanes' vocal talents have not diminished in the slightest. However, i just did not have that same immediate "Wow, i'm going to like this album" feeling when i first listened. I have so far only listened twice, so this review really is based on first impressions, but as i said, my first impression was so contrary to that i had to his last album i am afraid that may say a lot.I think the main problem is that all the songs are quite same-y. All quite slow, even "Yerbatero", which i must admit was the first Juanes song i ever heard for the first time and didn't immediately like (although it has grown on me), isn't exactly rocky "Camisa", "Adios", or even "Me Enamora" material.It's a decent album, good quality, but please Juanes, next time, rock it up a bit more!

After getting my pre-ordered copy of PARCE today, I was really looking forward to listening to it. After the release of the absolutely storming "Yerbatero" earlier in the year, I was confident that Juanes return to form as a rock singer was assured.Yet "Yerbatero" is undoubtably the stand out track; it seems, at first listen anyway, that the rest of the album is filled with the same dreary fare that "La Vida... es un ratico" was full of. There are some really good tracks - "Todos los dias" is an upbeat one, "Y no regresas" is excellent, "Segovia" has a great rhythm and the kind of lyrics that the first album "Fijate bien" had in spades, and "Amigos" is inoffensive enough, and of course "Yerbatero". But the tortured love songs like "La razón", "La soledad","Lo Nuestro" and "El amor lo cura todo" just make me want to skip. Juan, hasn't your wife forgiven you yet?If you liked "La vida", you'll love this. If like me, you were hoping for the return of the Juanes that gave us "A dios le pido", "La camisa negra" and "Fijate bien", then you just might, like me, be a bit disappointed.

It appears Juanes thought this album was not the best that he could do. I would disagree--I think it's the best work he's ever done! I teach Spanish in high school classes, and my students all love "Yerbatero!"

JUANESのほかのアルバムを知らない人には、あまりいいアルバムだと感じないと思う。ちょっと暗いし入りにくい。ただ今までJUANESを追ってきた人にとっては繰り返し聞けば聞くほど歌が沁みこんでいくと思う。その時代時代のテーマを彼は歌に織り込んでいる。SHAKIRAがある程度バランスをとれた歌を作っている一方、JUANESはいつもそうだけど、一貫したメッセージを伝えている。スペイン語をかじった人なら、簡単な歌詞なのでわかりやすいし、買っておいても損はしない。スペイン語学習時のの動詞変化に疲れた人も、実際はこういう平易な表現になることを知っていれば、今後学習の励みになると思う。前から薄々感じていたが、これからはたぶん彼の持つ思想が、かなり世界的に影響力を持っていくと思う。そういう意味でもトラックしておいたほうがいい。よくよく考えると、我々日本人が持つ思想に似ている。JUANESを知らない、あるいは意図的に間違ったイメージで日本向けにプロモートされた日本人は不幸だと思う。
