which size is the blade?

I am not sure what your question means. The design is a "scissor" type action, the large curved handles, which incorporate a spring mechanism, at the bottom end. The top end are the sharp scissor/clipper/nipper mechanism.. The design aims to produce neat trimming with a steady hand. It might be useful to watch a video on how to use before purchasing. My recent purchase was to replace a pair that I lost. A very well known make also found in pharmacies in the High Street. Hope this helps.
