Review: Pretty damn good. - I bought this pedal to use with a keyboard, for electric piano (Rhodes style) sounds. I can’t fault it at all. It sounds great, just the sound i wanted. Just Two simple controls, a knob for rate/intensity, and a switch which alters the tone slightly. I’ve bought Behringer pedals before, and although most of them have sounded fairly good for the price, they tend to be cheap and plasticy. NOT this one though. The body is made of metal, and it looks great too. Just one thing to mention is, it’s a little bit bigger than your average effects pedal. Not an issue for me, in fact i like the size. But if your a guitarist struggling for pedalboard space, it might be. For me, i like the sound, i like the construction and i like the looks. For what it cost, is a no brainier, and definitely a keeper.
Review: A non-difficult phase. - This is incredible. And For the price!? Wowsers. I'm currently using it a semi-modular synth, but it's also exceptional on a guitar. Based on the classic "small stone" phaser from the 1970s, I believe. Go from mild phase to full on crazy whoosh! The build quality is great. Very sturdy. And the colour scheme pops. It is a little bit large, but, I'm not using it on a pedal board, so... Not an issue. GREAT SOUND, LOOKS FUNKY AS F. 8/10.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can i use this with my bass or just my guitar?**
A: Yes, I use this for Bass. Best using flatwound strings, bridge pickup with the Bass cut or use a HPF.

**Q: Could i achieve a black Sabbath tone with this?**
A: I'm not sure that Tony Iommi ever used a phaser pedal in his setup. However, I'm not a huge Black Sabbath fan, so I might have missed something. Here's a site that see,s to list what gear Tony uses: http://www.dawsons.co.uk/blog/tony-iommi-gear-how-to-sound-like-the-black-sabbath-guitarist . Dawson's are pretty respectable traders, so I guess they're accurate? Hope this helps, anyway.

**Q: do you have the behringer psu sh dc power supply and how much is it**
A: I use a JOYO power supply, which drives most of my pedal board.

**Q: How many ma does this use?**
A: According to Behringer's spec sheet, 100 mA.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Vintage sounding Phaser
*by J***S on 2 April 2014*

This is an interesting pedal. It gives a very good phaser sound with a long whoosh or a shorter, almost Uni-vibe sound. Good points: sound is as claimed. Will run either in front of your amp or in the effects loop but I prefer it in front as I'll explain below. It's very inexpensive and good value. Bad points: Not sure I'd take it on the road but at the price you could have 2 or 3 back ups and still spend less than a classic Boss or MXR. The resonance switch is either on or off and I'd don't like the sound of it on (reminds me of cats in a blender!). It's a pity there's no blend or depth control. Putting it in front of the amp helps tone it down a bit but it's very much a one sound pedal (but not necessarily a bad sound). I've compared it to my classic Boss PH-1R and setting both pedals to the same depth, speed, etc and there are almost indistinguishable. However . . . in blind A>B the Boss won every time; it just has a sort of unctuousness like a really nice soft toffee compared with the Behringer which is more like a brittle boiled sweet. If you could mod it with a depth control it would be a really good budget phaser.
