I think I understand the question. It honestly depends on the servo and the load on it. Get an amp meter and test or find out the stall torque amp draw of your proposed servo. What I do to get around this is just get 7 channel receivers, but yes, you should always plug in both leads. **Q: Is there any way to program output voltage without CastleLink?** A: Not to my knowledge.
