Since it’s silicon, I’ve noticed when I take it traveling in our vehicle it tends to be a magnet for any dust/debris nearby, but otherwise great to travel with. It’s NOT spill proof BUT I wasn’t buying it for that. IF it does spill because child has it upside down or I accidentally tip it over, the flow isn’t rapid so it’s really no big deal or concern of mine. I love this cup and so does my 28 month old. I’ve given them this cup without lid/straw combo for drinking directly out of and she manages. I do feel it is quite big for her still to drink from like that but still gets the job done. I only use this cup for water.
