The description says that the light is 2.4 Watts (1.2 times 2) - which is the same as for the less expensive light. Is this actually the case?

They are bright. My fire inspector told us to get these.

The lights come on when the electricity goes off and stay on until the electricity comes back on or the batteries are dead ( approximately 90 minutes ).
