The board is very thin, not like the original board. The cards are just printed on a thick piece of paper and you have to punch them out. Not the game card quality of the original game. I've seen this in stores** A: I had a this game as a child and also had it for my children when they were little. Updates: game pieces (cardboard to molded plastic gingerbread men); pictures; specialty areas; etc. The basic game is the same as I remember; however, there is an accommodation for younger plaqyers (ages3-4) if specialty card is drawn that would take player backwards on game board...ignore until age 5 and up. Other than mantioned changes from when I first knew game I don't know what would make this "Amazon exclusive". We bought for my granddaughter's 4th birthday this summer and she LOVES it.
