Not necessarily an upgrade because v-mods were fine, just different in a good way. These are staying in my strat for the long haul. First set I ordered expecting white ( based on the photos in the listing) received black. No option to choose color though. I ordered a second set and called customer service requesting white. Second set came in an open product box with wrong sized pickup pad, no hardware, no instructions and 2 non functioning pickups: Neck and middle.
