**Q: Can the latch be rotated to be used for an outward opening door?**
A: Yes, this latch can be rotated for use with an outward opening door.

**Q: Attached on left of door(looking from inside) which way does latch lock, up or down. Dog jumps up at our latch and knocks it down - locks us out !**
A: You would need to click the button down to lock.

**Q: Can one undo the automatically locking feature? that is, make it function like a regular lock that locks by key only? Thanks!**
A: No. Cannot be used as a lock that locks by key only. Can be put on latch however to stop it locking if need be.
