TOPEAK Racerocket HP Pump, Black

Great pump...but beware of removable cores (in longer presta valves, especially), or it's useless.
Excellent minipump. Small, light, and gets very good pressure. If you use shorter-stemmed valves (without removable cores--and I didn't even know mine were removable, as I don't need that feature), I'd highly recommend this pump.BUT...and this is a HUGE but...If you happen to use/need long-valved tubes (I use 80mm valves for my 60mm aero rims), some of them have removable cores for the attachment of valve extenders. I didn't know my valves had these, honestly. The first time I needed to use this pump, I had a bad mishap. I screwed it onto the valve to get a secure, leak-free connection, pumped the tire up easily to a solid pressure, then unscrewed the pump's connector from the valve. As I unscrewed it, it removed the valve's core, deflating my freshly pumped tube in less than one second. I've since spoken with another rider I know with one of these pumps (and deeper aero rims as well), and he said that the same thing happened to him.As such, I'm sending it back. I've spoken to Topeak, and they've acknowledged that this has happened to other customers with this pump. In its place, I've purchased the slightly larger Topeak Pocket Rocket DXII (that has a lever lock to attach securely to the valve, not a screw-on connector), which works even better (higher pressure with ease). As much as I liked the design, size, weight, and flexible hose/connection of this pump, if it disassembles my spare tubes' valves when I need them most, I can't rely on it; defeats the whole purpose.

Great but...
This is a great pump. Small, compact, lightweight, durable. But I have a Trek Domane road bike and the mounting bracket does not fit my frame due to eh shape of the frame. So I cannot mount this pump. I did not return it because I figure all mounting brackets are going to be relatively the same. I think it is just a limitation of my particular bike frame. Fortunately, I use my bike for commuting, so I also have a travel rack and bag over my rear wheel. So it stores easily on the side pocket of the travel bag. It would earn 5 stars if it were mountable on my particular bike.

Compact but powerful!
I needed a pump small enough to fit in my tool bag under the seat on my road bike. It fits, but I thought, at what cost? Would it work? Would I be pumping for an hour to fill my tires?I finally tested it in my garage, letting both tires flat, and refilling with the pump. It takes very little effort to fill the tires. I was concerned I would loose too much air with disconnecting. No problem there either. The only problem is you don't know how much air is in the tires, but in an emergency, who cares? I just want to get home!Great product, very compact, and extremely well made.

Quality pump
Quality pump would have given all high stars, except difficult to attach to a Schrader valve

This Pump Works Really Well.
It took me about 200 pumps to get a 28x700 tire aired up to 60LBS without much effort at all. I figure about 300 pumps would fill the tire the rest of the way. Great emergency pump and it is just as light as a CO2 cartridge and valve but with CO2 you only get one shot at it. Also this is great for topping your tires off in the morning if you stay the night somewhere.

It worked nicely. Glad I had it
Never had much use for the old pump before I bought this one, and no sooner than it came in the mail that I had to use it twice in as many weeks.. It worked nicely. Glad I had it. I was able to pump up to about 80 psi so that I could get back on the road

Small fits nicely in jersey and the pull out hose ensures you do not bend your valve. I use this for road and MTB. Keep in mind on the MTB it will take more time because it is not high volume but it gets the job done.

Purchased to replace a similar Lezyne pump that failed early (cracked hose). This lasted less than one year on the bike and likely only inflated a 2-3 tubes over that period of time. I went to use the pump and air was escaping between the hose and housing and I was not able to inflate the tire. This would have left me stranded if I was not with other riders. Totally unacceptable product life. Purchasing a Crank Brothers pump to replace this one (no whip hose to break or leak).

Nice little pump.
Works great.... have it on my training bike, never run out of Co2 and have to walk home again. No Uber on gravel rides. Haha

Muy practica
Muy pequeña y ligera, es un poco tardado inflar pero para el tamaño que tiene esta perfecta.
