Hello! A few years ago, these Piksters Interdental Brushes were purchased for an elderly father (75+) after his dentist recommended them. He was having difficulty using regular dental floss, but he was able to hold and use these brushes on his own without much trouble. The Size 1 brushes work well for very tight gaps between teeth and do a great job removing food particles and plaque that a toothbrush often misses. The soft bristles are gentle on the gums while still cleaning effectively. The materials are quite strong and do not bend easily (or break) during normal use. One feature that is especially useful is the cap, which can be attached to create a longer handle.
