Bose SoundLink Mini Bluetooth Speaker II - Pearl

I've had this little speaker for over a month now, and it's served me well. I have used it almost every day, for hours each time: Pros: - This speaker has amazing, room-filling sound. You'll be surprised just how good it is for such a compact speaker - The charging stand it comes with is easy to use and convenient. Building on this, the speaker's battery life is ideal. It can be used for hours before needing recharging. Additionally, the speaker reminds you of it's remaining battery percentage each time you turn it on - The excellent battery life also allows me to pick the speaker up from the stand and take it with me around the flat, making it extremely convenient - The bluetooth with this speaker connects automatically to my device, allowing it to pair quickly and effortlessly Cons: - The only negative I can think of is that this speaker lacks in volume when used outside, but this is to be expected from such a small indoor speaker. Overall this little speaker is the best I've owned, I won't be needing a new one for years. Although quite expensive it is entirely worth it, I couldn't recommend getting one more.

I made an accurate research in order to find the best speaker. Finally, I decided to buy this one. The speaker is simply amazing! It is small, well designed, heavy enough. It definitely gives a sense of robustness, strenght, built with high quality materials. The bluetooth connection is very easy, fast and stable. Functions are as simply as you wish they are: on/off, volume, pause, fwrd, back fwrd. Devices can also be connected with a 3,5mm jack so, it perfectly works with older equipments. This speaker has been designed for indoors so, I would avoid to bring it on the beach unless you properly protect it. However, the most important feature is the sound. I cannot describe it properly, it is simply incredible! It is hard to beleive how such a small speaker could produce a so deep and vibrating bass effect. The bass are intense and smooth at the same time. The sound created by the biggest speakers is ridicously well reproduced from this little one. Some would argue that trebles are not very loud. I disagree because you can easily regulate the equilizer from the outcome source (mobile, pc, tablet...). It is expensive but it worth the money spent.

I've had this speak for almost two weeks now and absolutely love it. The sound quality is amazing with great depth of bass too! I have had no issues pairing the device with my phone, setting up was a breeze as well. Battery life is even better than I expected. I have not been using this with a high volume but have used it every day since I bought it, usually synced through my phone but one occasion through the laptop via aux. The battery only just needed charging today and I would say I have had at least 12 hours of play time from it. Brilliant! It is also great that you can use the charging dock to charge the speaker at the same time you use it! Highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a quality portable speaker. Only thing to comment is that it is slightly heavier than expected for its size. Do if you're planning on carting it around in your handbag all day, every day you might want a lighter option. I do not intend to do so, therefore it isn't any problem for me!

I love this speaker, we wanted a speaker for the bath and for the garden, having done lots of research and reading reviews I decided to opt for the Bose Soundlink, and it has not disappointed. Firstly the sound quality it very clear, goes loud (for the size) and has very good treble, the bass is a little flat but given the size I think the bass is amazing. Size wise its smaller than I thought, easily fits in the hand and is surprisingly light. The battery seems to last forever and is easy to charge using either the cable or the base. My first one of these the charging base didn't work, but credit to amazon, I reported the problem and a new one arrived the next morning. Bluetooth connection is very easy to setup, and auto connects to my iPhone every time I turn the speaker on. The one niggle to report is both mine and my wife iPhone are connected to it, sometimes it will connect to both phones and she might be playing a youtube or Facebook video and it then fights between that and my music as it auto connects, I think this is more of an iPhone / Bluetooth quirk. Either way if your looking for a portable speaker with good sound quality and great battery life then look no further, this IS worth every penny.

The Bose Soundlink Mini 2 is a speaker not to be messed with. -DESIGN- The first thing you'll notice about the speaker is how small it is. It's smaller than your average TV remote, but weighs a lot more. This speaker is heavy for its size. It's a nice modern design, that wouldn't look out of place in any home. The charging unit also looks great. The top buttons are rubber, and fit in well with the overall look. -SOUND- This speaker packs a mean punch. It has incredible sound for its size. The bass is intense, and I assume this explains the weight, as it doesn't bounce around. The high ends are crisp. My only bug bear is that I feel they have focused to much on bass and the mid range sounds get muddy and lost. -OVERALL- I have to say I love it. It's fantastic and easy to use. With easy connectablility it works exactly like it should. The price is high, considering the market is flooded with Bluetooth speakers. You have to be prepared to pay for the name. That said I would recommend this, its built to last and will amaze you at how good it actually is.

The sound quality is good, but not amazing. There is a decent balance of base and treble, but I wish the bass stronger (and other might prefer the treble to be stronger). There is a clear problem with the direction of the audio: It sounds slightly but noticeably flatter when the speaker is not in line with your face. As for the build quality, it gets a straight 5/5. There is no question about it. Even the rubber grip at the bottom keeps it pretty still in the car. It's really annoying that you can never know how much battery you have with other bluetooth speakers, so I was delighted to find out that whenever I turn it on or take it off the charger it tells me how much battery is remaining. It speaks when connected too and tells you which device it was paired too (this is not the case with other bluetooth speakers and it can be very confusing!). The price here is the major concern. On the one hand, it clearly justifies it's price for the premium build quality, modern features (it speaks to you) and sound accuracy. On the other hand, it is difficult for the average person (such as myself) to justify spending £150 on a bluetooth speaker which could easily be replaced by chinese speaker for £55 (on offer - you know which one). Or actually putting £150 into a full-sized speaker if you don't need the portability. After using this product for a while I had to update this section of the review. When comparing the sound quality of this speaker to cheap Chinese bluetooth speakers, this one was far superior in bass and sound quality. Although not as loud. Also, when using this speaker in a small space such as a car or small room that's when it really starts to shine. This thing is amazing to take with you in the car, and the battery lasted the whole 8 hour journey (I used it for 4 hrs each way on a full battery). The bass after all isn't that bad but for example, when comparing to my V-MODA M100 headphones, the M100 has much better bass and better clarity too. So this speaker fits in well when you don't want big headphones on your head but alone in your room, or when going on a car journey with friends. I still think it should come in under £100.

We bought this as part of a deal with an Amazon Echo Dot. It was easy to connect and it just sits in our living room waiting for me to shout instructions (or sometimes insults) at Alexa. It appears to be able to connect to multiple devices at once as well, which is great. I have the Echo Dot and my phone connected, so can play music from either. The sounds quality is fantastic given the size of the speakers, plenty of base and volume. It comes with a nice charging dock as well, which you can plonk it on most of the time but then take it off and move it around the house as required. Although it just drops onto the charging dock, I do sometimes find it difficult to line it up correctly; this is only a minor gripe, particularly as it makes a noise when it is connected, so there is no risk of you thinking you've put it back on to charge when it isn't quite in place. My final point is that the battery life seems to be fantastic. I couldn't say exactly how long it lasts, but I was painting a bedroom the other day and had it on battery for most of the day; it just kept going! Given the size and battery life, it's fantastic to plonk in the garden for a BBQ or take down to the beach for a day out. Highly recommend the product.

had various bluetooth speakers and docks in my time. currently got the cambridge audio minx go's which i've had for a couple of years. i thought they sounded great until... last week i was at a friends place and they'd just got the bose soundlink mini 2's and i was blown away by the volume and bass this incredible unit sends out. even at full volume driven hard for hours this unit is incredible! it defy's belief how this tiny unit produces the sound it does for the size and money. even the stereo spread is fantastic. it even has voice messages that let you know what device is connected and how much battery remains etc. supplied with charger and has the option to sit on a cradle type charger or use micro usb power in. also has a 3.5mm aux input for non bluetooth audio devices. pros: sound, size, build, price cons: not been able to find any
