A: Pretty sure burn in is more marketing stuff than necessity. Watched a video about it where like the rec time for it would put most items outside of the free returns period or something. I'm no audio expert, but these are $20 headphones. Like I think the science is that it is such a small amount over such a long period that for most people it's more psychological? I never waste time with it. Too lazy/impatient. They sound fine enough to me.

For its price, which is less than 10$, the audio quality is pristine. However, the mic is quite important to me and it is one of the more worse mics that you would find. Muffly, really bad voice pickup, etc. If the purpose of your purchase is solely for sound quality, this is great bang for the buck, and you might as well opt for the version without the mic.
