I love that you don't have to wait forever to use the pool afterward. The fact that it's swim-ready in as little as 15 minutes is a HUGE plus, especially during the summer when telling everyone they can't get in the pool for the rest of the day isn't exactly an easy sell. It's also been great for keeping algae under control. After shocking, the water looks noticeably clearer and brighter, and I haven't had to fight that stubborn green tint nearly as much. The granular formula is easy to use, and having the 12-pack is much more convenient than realizing you're out right when the pool decides to turn cloudy overnight. If you have a pool and want something straightforward that tackles bacteria, algae, and cloudy water without a ton of hassle, this is definitely worth keeping in your pool supplies. Used this today at 1:50 p.m. and by 3:30 p.m. the difference was incredible. The water turned noticeably bluer, clearer, and overall much cleaner in under two hours. We’ve been struggling to keep up with the heat and had been using liquid shock, and I even spent around $100 on Burnout at a pool and spa store but this Clorox® Pool&Spa™ Shock XTRABLUE® Plus works just as good, if not better. It made an immediate visible difference and my pool looks better than it has in a while. It’s also much less expensive per package than the Burnout from the pool store too! We love clorox pool and spa. It helps maintain our pool and keep it healthy and clear. Works wonders in our pool. With kiddos we love that its hard to open but also is swimable quickly. There is a strong odor when pouring it but it is a strong chemical. But works wonders!

This is the only product I use for shocking my pool. It works very quickly and it helps. Keep my pool very clear. I’m more than happy with this product.

I been using this for the past 2 years ease to use and i honestly love it .. No need to add other Chemicals to your pool I only shock it 1 to 2 times a week I use half the bag and brush it constantly it sure works your buy it’s worth your money
