What is the actual finished size?

We just got our order and it’s only 53” wide, not the 60” (5 ft) we ordered so a little short to cover our 4 ft wide beds securely with enough hanging down to stay in place

Can a hole be cut out for a solar panel? Will I need to stitch/glue to keep it from unraveling?

I don't know what kind of glue or how to stitch the loose weave together. You better do this first before cutting the weaved from unraveling.
