FastCap Glu-Bot Glue Bottle (16 Ounces)

Superb glue bottle, easily dispenses the glue. Just squeeze the side of the bottle to get the glue flowing, no need to tilt as if pouring glue out. Not made of cheaper thin plastic either. It’s now filled with Tite bond waterproof. nozzle is also easy to clean and saves the glue from going off. There is also a smaller version that holds less glue, called baby bot I think.

Game changer for larger glue projects, like cutting boards. No hand fatigue, pours easily and reduces the mess on the workbench. Definitely worth every penny.

Works well on thinner glues, when the glue has been in the bottle for a month or two and thickens up, it takes a lot to squeeze it out.

Simple, cheap and so effective. Why oh why didn't I buy one before now :(

I was hesitant at the start about this but now I wouldn't be without it now since buying. It is far better at applying glue than the glue bottle and also has kept the glue from drying up at the spout when I forgot to close it one night. the flow can be easily managed as well and can't recommend enough

The Glu-Bot is a must have for any workshop doing anything with wood. It is easy to fill and keeps the glue from curing too quickly, thus avoiding lots of waste. The well designed nozzle delivers a consistent and controlled stream of glue via the 2 supplied, easy clean, nozzles. There is also a self-centring attachment supplied which helps avoid any wasteful run-off on the narrow edges of the workpiece. The 2 silicon caps for each of the nozzles fit well and the bottle design means that there is no clogging at the tip as the glue is "sucked back" into the bottle.

Ive only just started using it so difficult to comment on longevity etc. Initially I couldn't get the glue to come out of the spout until I found that the tips are sealed from the factory and you have to cut the end off. Seems a bit weird to me seeing as there's no glue to protect.

Using evo stick exterior wood glue and you really have to squeeze hard, two handed, to get it to flow. Probably find it easier with titebond glue? I decanted the evo stick into a clean washing up bottle, squeezes out no problem and keeps sealed perfectly well.

Very impractical

Ich schreibe meine Rezessionen grundsätzlich erst, wenn ich den Gegenstand in Gebrauch hatte. Grund des Kaufes: Die 1 Liter Leimflasche wurde mir mit der Zeit zu unhandlich. Die Leimdüse verklebte nach kurzer Zeit. Produkt: Original GluBot Leimflasche von FastCap 500ml Positive Aspekte: Gute Grösse, nicht zu klein, aber auch nicht zu gross. Ergonomische Form, liegt gut in der Hand Angenehme Haptik, das Material der Flasche ist weich, ideal für eine feine gut dosierte Leinauftragung. Negative Aspekte: Also, für eine Kunststoffflasche ist der Preis schon stolz. Fazit: Ich zögerte mit dem Kauf aufgrund der schlechten Rezessionen punkto Verarbeitung. Auch empfand ich den Preis als grenzwertig. Anderseits, ist die Leimflasche bei mir kein Prestigeobjekt, die Leimflasche muss dicht sein und angenehm in der Handhabung. Das wichtigste ist für mich aber, eine fein dosierte Leimauftragung. Ich ärgere mich immer wieder, wenn ich wegen Zuviel Leim Zeit und Geld vergeude. Die Verarbeitung bei meiner Lieferung war gut. Ich denke, wenn man einmal die Kröte des hohen Preises geschluckt hat und eine gut verarbeitete Flasche geliefert bekommt, hat man Freude daran. Ich hoffe, ich konnte mit meiner Rezession allen Interessenten die Entscheidung erleichtern.
