For the 1st time we had my bfs inherited ceramic christmas church which lights up on the windowsill. It means a lot to him as it was handed down when his nanna died and she was a big part of his life. I knocked it off the windowsill and it broke into 4 pieces. I searched everywhere online to see how I could fix it and decided to purchase this set after a few recommendations. It did what I needed to and perfectly. I was able to attach all the pieces back together and even fill chips. It feels strong and I am confident it will hold. It's good to see this has many uses as there is plenty left. It can get a bit messy, so have everything you need before mixing it up including some rags. Everything I used went in the bin (small container for mixing, mixing utensils, rag, 6 applicators). Try to avoid getting it on your hands as it is difficult to remove and very sticky! Once the mixture dried on the now fixed areas, I was able to paint over it with acrylic paints. It looks as good as new I would definitely buy this stuff again. A great purchase with many uses!

This product does not like to be painted, tends to react with paint, even if left for a week to completely dry. Other than the paint issue, a great product for yuor boaty needs!

Excellent quality epoxy. I purchased this to repair a leak in a plastic pond base, and it's done the job admirably. It doesn't set quickly, but the instructions on the packaging are accurate. The heat wave was actually quite helpful for setting the stuff. Do yourself a favour, and make sure you have spare cardboard and something fairly robust to mix it with. It's easy to see when it's mixed from the colour, but you need something like an ice lolly stick to mix.

Bad crack in ceramic toilet cistern that was leaking onto a carpeted floor. Problem was that cistern was no longer made and whole WC unit would need to be replaced. Bought this 2-part filler, drained cistern and dried it out thoroughly with a hair drier and smeared the mixed paste into the crack and over it on the inside of the tank. Let it dry for a day, and then refilled the cistern. Not a leak since. And that was 16 months ago! Worth every penny.

Maybe I got a bad batch, but originally I found this stuff to be totally useless. It is so sticky that by the time I had mixed it completely it was all over the pot I was mixing it in, the spatula I used to mix it, and the gloves that I was wearing. There was almost none left that I could scrape up to use and then I found the one thing it would not stick to, the pond liner I wanted to use it with. Everything has had to be thrown away. Can I return it? Later: I complained to the manufacturer and he arranged for a replacement to be sent to me along with some other useful information. I have not had time to try it yet but will update here when I have. Later still: I have tried the new material using the technique suggested in a video the manufacturer sent to me and I was able to mix this product successfully. It remains very sticky, though, and I don't think I will be able to use it for the purpose I bought it, but that is more my problem than the product's. If you do buy this, do get in touch with the UK agent [email protected] and they will send you a useful leaflet of instructions which explains everything that should be on the tin. I will upgrade my stars to 3 as it doesn't seem to be as bad as I originally thought, but the lack of instructions with the product prevents anything better. I gather that this is a problem with marketing through Amazon plus the absence of instructions on the tin.

This 2 part filler bonds well and the finish is excellent

Very, very strong stuff when mixed. It takes a while to harden but when it does it forms a very strong bond. Try to use your scraper to put clean lines when spreading as it doesn't sand very easily when hard.

I assume epoxy after curing would be hard as rock, but this one is soft and it took over 24hr to get firm (not hard). Curing time I would assume maybe 3-4 day, but nonetheless it does not get as hard as typical epoxy as I have expected. I used for same job. Maybe its the wrong type.

I used this product to repair white marble stones that are kept in the freezer. The bond is excellent and has lasted at least ten years with some earlier repairs I made. It is also an excellent filler for chips that can be replaced. A little sticky to work with but remains malleable for enough time. Can be smoothed over and sanded when cured.

I used this product to repair chips and worn areas in an antique cast iron kitchen sink, before refinishing it. The epoxy was easy to apply and left a smooth surface. The small bits that I did not get perfectly level sanded easily. The white color covered easily with the white reglazing product.

I've used this product to fix almost everything around the house where I needed it to be glued together forever. Wood, metal, plastic, etc. I have fixed rusty high pressure water lines with no leaks. Olympic Tourch to hold a plastic collar together so it could work properly. It can be drilled and taped. Mix it properly and it will work it's magic.
