Lovely and shiny. Very sturdy. Not had any breakages yet. It's a very large spool so will need an external holder for an embroidery machine. Really easy to use. Embroidered really well and not rough on the skin.

There are so many things I love about this thread: - the colour is really beautiful, it’s a soft baby pink with great shine - it’s strong, does not break easily - it’s buttery smooth, glides through everything, and there are no burrs or snags - 5500 yds on one spool is fantastic and will last a long while - the plastic spool holder is recyclable (as well as the box it came in) and fits perfectly on my machine’s thread stand

Initially I was wondering if this thread would be good quality, and I was pleasantly surprised! It’s beautiful and so easy to work with. Pros: - very strong thread, low stretch - extremely smooth, no pilling or knotting - glides through the machine and fabric like butter - the colour and shine is so pretty! - large quantity on the spool - the plastic spool is thick, strong, and can be recycled after you finish Cons: - you may need to purchase a thread stand or find a workaround if the spool doesn’t fit on your machine’s attachments

I love machine embroidery as a hobby but I was getting realy tired of running out of thread in the middle of a project. This Simthread spool with 5500 yards has been absolutley perfect for my high volume projects and the pea soup color is so unique and pretty. The quality is fantastic and the 100 percent polyester thread runs smoothly through my Brother machine without any breakage or fraying. The 40 weight is perfect for most of my designs and the color is consistent from start to finish on the spool. It is high speed rated so I can run my machine fast without worrying about tension issues. It has saved me so much time and frustration. No more stopping to change spools constantly or worrying about matching dye lots for large designs. The generous yardage means one spool lasts for many projects which is great for my budget. The color selection from Simthread is amazing and I'm slowly building my collection. Useing this thread feels like having a reliable workhorse for your embroidery machine. It's similar to the difference between cheap printer paper and good quality paper, the results just look so much better. I am definitly a Simthread convert now.

I honestly do not know what embroidery thread is. I got this because I am very hairy and I thread my facial hair and I needed to get thread for my facial hair so I thought I would try this. I had small spools of thread in the past, but I ran through those quite quickly so I thought I would get something larger and long lasting this embroidery thread is incredible quality. It is not the best of gripping hairs but I understand that’s not the purpose. I like that you get a great quantity of thread. This would honestly last me a year or two if it worked, but unfortunately, it doesn’t grab the hairs as well, but it is a very silky thread, so if embroidery thread is meant to be silky, I think that this is a great thread. I love the colour of it. I think it’s absolutely gorgeous so if it’s to create designs and fabric, which I think it’s for I think it would be absolutely stunning. You can definitely try it for threading. I have a heavier hand and tend to apply some force while threading which leads to cut in my skin, but this is great because it doesn’t grab the hairs as aggressively and still does a decent job with hair removal
