Memory Foam Car Seat Lumbar & Back Support Cushion for Driving

I kept this one out of the four lumbar cushions I ordered. Bought it for my car to support my lower back and hip in new car. It provides a comfortable lumbar support, not hard or soft, just right. Helps me adjust my seat backrest back a bit so I can get a wider angle on my hip joint (was getting groin pain). It helps my upper body be a bit closer to gears and steering wheel as I couldn't reach once I moved my seat back enough to reduce groin pain. I need to state that I have had to place another cushion on my upper back as otherwise my upper back isn't supported at all or I'm leaning back in an annatural curve which just causes upper back pain instead. I think these lumbar supports really need more thickness in the upper back area to be useful and that is why I have taken a star off. But I'm certainly comfortable now and I really though that I had made a big mistake in buying the car and was dreading having to trade it in so quickly and lose money on it. For £20 this cushion is a godsend for me as I was in agony after a 15 minute drive before using this. There is no chemical offgassing with this product so I feel it's not poisoning me. The description says it is a clean product and I'd say that is true (I am sensitive to chemical odours).

I have leather sports seats, which aren't always the most comfortable and the awkward shape means it's difficult to get a support that fits snuggly in them. I previously ordered a bolster, that I had to send back, because it came out too far and didn't sit in-between the side bolsters of the seat. So glad I ordered this as it sits in the seat perfectly, it's not too thick and it supports the whole contour of your back. You can actually feel the memory foam moulding around you. I've paired it up with a bolster seat and they go together perfectly

After purchasing their excellent wedge seat pad - details in a separate review- I found that my car seat offered no lumbar support, which after a while causes discomfort. So, seeing this lumbar support from the same brand decided to give it a try. It was a little fiddly to fit securely in the best position, however, once this was achieved it made my car seat supremely comfortable, offering the right level of support. After a 2 hour drive I was able to remain comfortably supported. I now get out of the car feeling relaxed and pain free... For me this is a 5 Star product and can't recommend this enough.

I got this item due to lack of lumbar and spinal support from my new BMW's driver seat. I was getting backache and could not drive for a long time without suffering backache. Having used this item for a few weeks and been on long journeys I can say I am very happy with it. The cushion fits quite nicely into the car seat. It takes some getting used to as it is quite thick, which moves your driving position forward somewhat, but at the same time I feel like that thickness ensures continued, good robust support for the lower back. My upper back also rests on the cushion so I feel supported there also. I haven't noticed any softening it loss of shape. After the disappointment of buying a car whose seat I can't get on with, this has been a lifesaver!

My wife and friend suffer from back pain. Put these in the car and drove to the south of France. Both said how comfortable and supportive they were and didn't suffer with the usual back pain. I tried it but found it pushed me a little too far forward in my seat but I do have long legs. Probably could get used to it but don't really need it.

Perfect for easing the back on long drives. Very versatile as it can be moved to other seats in the vehicle.

Read the reviews before buying so thought I would give this a try and all I can say is best buy ever for a bad back it does push you forward so just have to lay the seat back a bit but helps my back pain so much when driving would defo purchase again
