DS580B Auto Grip Cello Stand

I love this stand. I have one for my cello and one for my banjo. Sturdy and high quality.

Works well, no issues. I take it to jams and I have added a fiddle hanger on the back side. I use it with the cello spike retracted to keep it closer to the ground and it is very stable

I didn't understand how to leave my end pin out at first on this stand. I thought the bottom of the cello had to touch the padded legs of the stand to keep it sturdy, but that's not the case. With the end pin left out, the cello rests on the neck where it bends into the scroll, and it can twist left or right slightly but it remains sturdy and there's no risk of it hitting any part of the stand. I love the included knob to hold my bow. Makes it so easy to steal a few minutes and play without wrestling things out of a case and getting your end pin set just right, etc. It's a little pricey but I think it's definitely worth it. One critique: I wish the center adjustment knob had some padding. I have already bumped that with the back of the cello when lifting the cello out of the stand. But that's something I can easily add myself.

Simple and so easy to use. One hand operation. Sturdy and attractive. Perfect for a busy studio. I bought this for my wife who is a professional cellist. She bought another one for her other cello.

I bought this for my Yamaha Silent Cello and it works perfectly. The cello is secure and really easy to pick up and remove from the stand. I’m lazy so I like that I can just leave the end pin out. There’s also a little knob to hang your bow, which is nice. Definitely recommended.

not stable

Solid cello stand from which you basically "hang" your cello by the neck with the lower bouts resting against the padded foam legs. It doesn't cradle with arms like some other stands, but has proven to be quite functional and easy to use. Keeping the instrument out and easily accessible helps encourage practice as well, and this stand has a handy bow holder... All-in-all, a very good stand, but not quite perfect...

猛暑の最中、ニスの柔らかいチェロにケースの跡が付いてしまいました。家の中での保管中にもかかわらずです。ショックでしばらく落ち込みましたが、これからのこともあるので、思い切ってケースから出して保管することにしました。そこでいろいろ調べてたどり着いたのがこちらのスタンド。足が頑丈で、チェロを安心して立てかけることができます。説明書がないので使い方が分からず少し戸惑いましたが、ネックの上部に引っ掛けることでチェロ全体が固定されます。もっと早く使えばよかったのに、ということだけが後悔です。

This product looks great and very stable after putting the Cello on.

Extremely reliable and stable. Lightweight but a quality build. Looks smart on stage. A little bulky when folded - a matching carrying bag (such as supplied with the violin stand) would make it more convenient. I trust Hercules with my instrument, as do my bandmates with theirs. I wouldn't use any other brand.

Sehr stabil und auch gut gepolstert. Bequem zu benutzen. Cello steht sicher und rutschfest. Den Pin, für den Bogen kann man auch nach links tauschen, je nachdem, ob man von links oder rechts zugreift.

Très facile à monter en plus il ne prend pas beaucoup de place parfait pour les petites surfaces. Le système est top car juste à poser son violoncelle sans avoir à remettre la pic (et la pic ne touche pas le sol) : donc le violoncelle est prêt pour la prochaine séance tout de suite (motivant pour l’entraînement j’ai tendance à davantage travailler car il est sorti et disponible). Ultra pratique, pas de souci pour la sécurité de l’instrument qui ne bouge absolument pas une fois posé (il y a un réglage au milieu qui a un peu de jeu, normal ce sont les crans au choix, mais qui ne bouge plus du tout quand l’instrument est posé). A noter le repose archet, qui n’est pas conforme exactement à la photo, mais qui convient aussi très bien. Je mets quelques photos pour se rendre compte. Précisons que je suis grande et ai un violoncelle taille adulte avec un réglage de pic assez long, je choisis donc le cran taille maximum. Parfait. Ravie !
