Will this flush pipe fit this cistern it’s a gerbit 109.720.00.1

Not sure I can help. So long ago cannot remember themake of my cistern. I think it was fairly cheap and sorted my problem .just buy one and try it. It was my last attempt to find a pipe that fitted

Does the 50mm vertical section have the same diameter throughout its length, or is it gradually tapered down to the bend?

The top section of pipe thar connects to the cistern is 50mm in diameter, whilst the bottom section that connects into the back of the WC is 44mm in diameter. The transition in diameter occurs at the bend itself.

Is the rubber corn is for the 44mm side or the 50mm side

The 44mm end goes into the pan along with the rubber cone, the 50mm end attaches to the flush valve.

Hello - please confirm that the 50mm diameter dimension of the vertical section of the flush pipe refers to outside diameter.

Yes it does. 50mm end fits into flush unit and 40mm end fits into the back of toilet with flush cone.
