What type and size screw should i use for 6x30? fitting outside light to a wall. as far as i can tell from the box - 5. wood, metal? what length?

About a 4 gauge screw ,but you can use maximum of a 5 gauge. As for length about a 50mm screw will be plenty.

These are probably best plasterboard anchors on the market certainly best I’ve used but to be honest if this is a heavy unit I’d probably cut a couple of holes out the plasterboard and set 2 lengths of wood behind the plasterboard and screw into these.
