Camper Beetle 18648, Men's Sneaker

I saw these shoes probably a couple of years ago, and liked the design. I wasn't completely sold on the price though, which I felt was very high. I have looked back at them every now and again but still felt that £175 was too much to risk on a brand I have never seen or owned before. Fast forward to last week and I see that they are on the Black Friday deals for just over £100. Now don't misunderstand, this is still a lot of money to pay for a lightweight pair of casual shoes, but I decided to take the plunge anyway. I am very pleased that I did. They are extremely well made from what I can see, very comfortable and incredibly light weight. They look good too, at least to my eyes, smart enough to wear with both casual and smart casual clothing but still striking and eye-catching. My only worry is how long they will last, whether the lightweight construction means that the soles will quickly wear down. Time will tell and I will update my review accordingly should I feel any different a few months and miles down the road.

Amazing! I’m so pleased I brought these, super comfy and great looking. Very versatile with chinos, jeans or joggers.

These shoes are really light and comfortable, the leather has a really soft feel and looks quality, the fit is great and has lots of room for spreading out your toes. I recommend these shoes.

Great shoes. Took a few days to wear in, and more comfortable with insoles, but look and feel great now.

Extremely comfortable and light weight - like very much! Would I have paid full price - considering the quality after purchase - I don't think so; however, worth the £85 paid. Looking forward to years of comfortable use.

Too expensive for what they are

When they first arrived they looked a bit weird - the front of the shoes were looking rather large compared to 'normal' shoes/trainers - but they were immediately really comfortable. I use them for work where we are required to wear 'smart casual' clothes Mon-Thur and as keen cyclist I have ended up wearing them for cycling as well . It's been over a year and they look almost new despite the wear and tear and I adore them so much I end up polishing them almost weekly . Worth every penny. Any faults ? The tread seemed to wear out rather fast but this is probably because I used them so much ....so over all a ten out of ten from me.

Snug fit, lightweight shoes; and obviously high quality. Not as sturdy as Campers’ iconic Pelotas range but a great everyday shoe.

Kampandan faydalanarak uygun sayılabilecek bir fiyata aldım. Rengi çok güzel hem açık hem koyu renk kıyafetlerin altına çok güzel durdu. Camper genel olarak rahat tabanlara sahip olsa da bu modeller ortopedik değil. Ancak rahatlık yumuşaklık üst düzey.

I ordered these for my brother—his third pair of Campers and second pair of the Beetle style. He can't say enough good things about the shoes and has said they are the "perfect shoe" for men. No break in period—feel comfortable the moment you put them on. It took him a round of exchanges to get his sizing right with the EU sizing, but found the perfect fit that has been consistent across pairs. He's worn an earlier pair of canvas Beetles through some incredibly rigorous outdoor work and they washed up in the washing machine easily and came out looking like new again—this after he has had them almost a year. He's not easy on them and the two prior pairs are holding up incredibly well. He likes the Beetle style because there is a higher "arch" of material at the back of the shoe that keeps his feet from slipping out of the shoe (he also has the Camper Peu Cami sneaker and it has a lower back that slips more easily—still a great shoe, but he doesn't like the slipping in his active work). This particular pair is very attractive and could be easily worn in an office setting. Seems to straddle casual and slightly more formal well. Looks like the same great construction he's had with other Campers. Highly recommended by my brother who has high standards for comfortable shoes. I might add that my brother is very thrifty about most things, but feels these shoes are worth every penny he paid for them.
