New Super Mario Bros U (Wii U)

Mario in HD is something everybody needs to experience. This game is crisp, beautiful and vibrant in colour and graphics. Gameplay is divided into challenge type mini games that include speed runs (very fun - and I find helps improve your gameplay ability) and the regular story mode. It's worth noting that even after all these years, and using the same foes Nintendo continues to provide unique level design. The real beauty of this game (and those before it) is the level of difficulty. It walks a fine line between being easy for a beginner who takes their time, and being quite difficulty for a veteran who wants to get through levels very quickly and with all coins/not being hit. Simply brilliant game.

Aside from the HD graphics, what my family love most about this is the cooperative play on this game. As everyone knows, when it comes to video games, it's not long before the kids leave us parents standing. Now we parents can take part again, by taking the supportive role in coop mode using the Gamepad. Using the Gamepad, another player can block or stun enemies, place platforms strategically so that the kids can progress through the levels and reach new areas. It's still frantic fun of course, and some times I join in as player 3 or 4.. well, I try anyway ;o) Highly Recommended, especially if you love Mario games.

I'll keep this short: If you like 2D platformers, you'll love this If you like Mario games of old, you'll love this If you like playing fun games with family, you'll love this If you like a challenge, you'll love this. If you have a WiiU, you should buy this. Pros: Fun, Fun, Fun. Lovely HD graphics Challening in the later stages Miiverse integration is neat and unobtrusive Music is worringly catchy Multiplayer is fun and engaging Cons: You will swear alot when you get to some of the later stages A bit short.

It is miracle that this game is still interesting for me. It is mario bros as better as it can be. I bought it just to play in my free time with my 8 years old brother but I stuck with it until the end of the game. Well It was a bit smaller than the wii version but great fun no regrets for buying. Thanks again Nintendo.

Where do I begin... On the friday 30th November I ordered this game along with Zombiu for next day as I am an amazon prime member.. The company that amazon pay to deliver are really quite crap, they decided upon themselves since its a saturday they will deliver it on a monday, Monday arrives the games apparently get signed for by a mysterious man posing as myself and they are dropped in "the porch" bearing in mind I live on a high street with no such thing on the shared property. So replacements were generated and promised to be next day delivery for Wednesday 5th. still waiting.. In all I've found the customer service quite lacking and far from satisfactory. The game however is Very good buy as I've played this already on my friends console. ITS A MUST BUY for any family that has a Wii U.

I've been playing this now for some time and Mario in HD is something that any Mario fan needs to experience and you will love it. The Gameplay is fantastic, the story mode is great and i love the mini challenge type of games too. The game is crisp, beautiful and vibrant in colour and graphics. Overall its, simply a brilliant game.

we gave this game to our son for his 7th birthday but it was faulty & not working. The error message said that the disc was dirty but the disc was perfectly clean; it was put in a brand new wii u console & the other games bought for his birthday worked perfectly fine

Well its Super Mario, so as expected, the level design is top notch, the graphics are colourful, the controls spot on, but... Wind the clocks back, when the NES was launched, Super Mario Bros was the killer app that defined a genre. The SNES cam along and Super Mario World blew our minds with its ingenuity. The Super Mario 64 put 3D gaming into the stratosphere... This game... Well there's nothing wrong with it, it just has that feeling of 'been there, done that'.

Buen juego para pasar un rato en Familia, hasta 4 jugadores, posibilidad de jugar online y compatible con el mando pro. Este en concreto es versión inglesa, por lo que la caratula viene en Ingles así como el contenido interior, pero una vez metes el juego en la Wii U el contenido sale todo en Castellano. Muy entretenido .

Compramos este juego para un niño de cinco años al que le encanta Mario Bros y está totalmente enganchado. Le gusta mucho y le entretiene en cantidad. Ha resultado un buen regalo.
