Sharp Battery Alarm Clock, Soft-Touch Case and Backlight, Charcoal Black

This is a good little alarm clock! It's easy to use and I like that the actual digital display doesn't stay on unless I press the button. That being said, it turns off when you're trying to set it so you have to keep pressing to light it up. All in all a good purchase! I ordered the charcoal color for my son and I got the purple. Loud enough and the purple color is so cute!

Originally purchased to use in my semi truck while over the road and kept it when I went local, it has a permanent spot on my dresser and I use it daily. Originally purchased in Nov 2025 and have yet to replace the batteries. It's worked flawlessly and is very easy to use. It's definitely loud enough and keeps great time. Would definitely recommend for traveling or use at home.

Small but does the job without any disruption when we lose power. I do wish it had a back light so I could see the time when its dark or dimly lit. Other than that, I'm satisfied with the little clock.

I was looking for a small, functional alarm clock with no bells or whistles - just a simple little clock that would get the job done. And this is it. The display is readable from a distance, and I like the fact that I can push a button to get a high visibility display at night. I didn't even need the instructions because the programming is so intuitive. The alarm sound is good - adequate to grab my attention, but not so loud or offensive that I want to throw the clock across the room. And by the way, if I did happen to want to throw the clock across the room, I could probably do so without harming either the clock or anything it landed on because of that soft, rubbery finish. That was an unexpected bonus. The best part? This clock is from a well-established and trusted name in electronics, and the price was under $10. That's about as good as it gets.

Gains about a minute a day, so every few days I have to reset the time again. What could be more fundamental for a clock than keeping accurate time? I had two of the predecessor models from Sharp and both functioned perfectly for several years each. Every time I replace something I've been happy with for years, the latest version is JUNK and this is just one more case of that.

I bought this to replace a very very old clock that I kept in the bathroom to watch the time while getting ready for work. That old clock started making weird noises. This Sharp is a nice small size and coated in soft rubber. Easy to set the time once I put two AAA size batteries (not included) in it. I am pleased with the clock.

I would really like this (I even ordered another because I need a few battery backups and I know it works) other than you have to press the snooze for the back light so in the dark it's hard to see. And the main thing that bothers me is the alarm will just stop after a few minutes. So if you fall back asleep that's it. It has a snooze but if the alarm doesn't even stay on I don't know how reliable that is. I've been using it for work for a year and at worst I have just reset the alarm and went back to bed but now I have an electric alarm as well. (I've woken up too many times with an alarm clock blinking because the electricity went out for a few seconds overnight) So it just depends on what you use it for. If it's mainly for a clock it works great and runs forever on just 2 triple A batteries. I've been using the same ones since I got it. It's accurate and has a good display size. But if you're a heavy sleeper and can sometimes sleep through an alarm, this isn't for you.

Tamaño muy práctico y los números se ven muy bien. La luz es un extra cuando quieres ver la hora y el cuarto está oscuro. El sonido pudiera ser más fuerte pero sirve para despertarte. Poco más de un año después la alarma ya no funciona, se traba al sonar pero el reloj sigue funcionando

Muy preciso y confiable! Si le pones una pila de calidad te puede durar años sin cambiarla, en dos años de uso se ha adelantado 5 minutos. El sonido de la alarma y la iluminacion, muy bien!
