(TM) Genuine Leather Cord Braiding String Lace

Much higher quality than other one i bought on line and snapped after couple of weeks. These have endured well and seem stroong. Important to use an introducer to lace as impossible without.

Its is great material for home crafters. I have been using for a long time for making woodcrafting gear and it is very naturally weather resistant. Multiple uses.

Not very strong which is a good safety factor for a necklace but as a home made lanyard for a phone, not so good. Guess I will learn to make bracelets.

Good length of strong leather, not that weak felty stuff that you see. Good for laces or making medieval points as I have used it for.

Bought to fit inlay into coffee table grooves. Came out really well so will be getting more to do same on tv stand, side table and sideboard

it seems to be a good quality item, the cord is strong and flexible enough, however there is one massive problem - the smell. it stinks of mould and you cannot get rid of the odour. don't think I'm overly sensitive - you literally smell this mouldy stench the moment you walk into the room where a piece of this cord is lying on a table. I tried a bunch of online recommendations to get rid of this horrible smell from leather - none helped:(

I was prepared to be disappointed in case it was thinner than I expected or the quality wasn’t good. However, colour is perfect qualities is very good and it is the exact thickness that I need for the job delivered really quickly excellent value for money.

Despite the odd complaint, I decided to go with the majority and ordered the 4 mm Flat Leather Cord; Length: 5 meters. It was exactly what I needed, although I probably have about 4 metres to spare. I had bought a hat to wear in the hot sunny weather. However, on a hot sunny *windy* day, I either had to hold on to it all the time, or not wear it at all. I bought the leather cord to make a chin strap. Perfect! It looks a bit like a cowboy hat but, hey, I can live with that. Happy to recommend this product. NB: ordered on a Saturday, dispatched and delivered the next day.

I took a chance ordering this to make a camera strap and was very disappointed. The leather is so heavily corrected that it looks like there is a coat of latex paint on each side. So much so that when it bends, the coating cracks and it looks like cheap vinyl.
